PhD Thesis Award: Call for nominations

The PhD Thesis Award is a prize for young researchers whose PhD thesis has made an important contribution to psychological assessment. The winner will receive 1,000 Euros and a two year membership of EAPA. 

Nominations are typically submitted by the supervisor of the thesis, but we also allow for self-nominations. Please note that either the nominee or the supervisor must be an EAPA member. The PhD Thesis Award Committee consists of five members of EAPA appointed by the Executive Committee. Prof. René Proyer (MLU Halle-Wittenberg, Germany) is the chair of the award committee. Please do not hesitate to contact him with any inquires  about the award you might have.

Nominations must include: (a) a short statement delineating the contribution of the thesis; (b) a CV; (c) list of publications; and (d) a short video (3 to 5 minutes) in which the PhD students presents the main findings from her/his thesis. We plan to upload the video of the winner to our website (https://www.eapa.science) and YouTube channel. Please include a statement that grants permission to upload the video. The video will not be part of the evaluation process! The PhD thesis must have been submitted and/or defended the years 2020 or 2021.
